Yobe state independent electoral commission says the recent changes in schedule of activities leading to the election does not in anyway temper with the date of the election.
Chairman of the commission, Dr Mamman Mohammed stated this while briefing newsmen on the changes in the recently released election timetable.
He assured that the covid 19 protocols would be strictly adhered to during the election.
According to him, sixteen registered political parties are to participate in the local government election scheduled for December this year.
